Wildlife viewing in Alaska: Eight Coastal Brown Bears, including a cub of the year. Four Black Bears, including twin cubs. Hundreds of Sea Otters. Dozens of Humpback Whales, Orcas chasing Sea Lions and Orcas breaching. Deer. Seals. More Sea Lions. Bald Eagles. Successful fishing trips to catch Silver Salmon and Halibut.

Now, let's talk puppies! A lot has happened while I was on vacation.
Please join me in welcoming the arrival of Shea and Toby's miniature puppies. Their family of five arrived on Tuesday, July 30th. There are three boys and two girls in their litter. There are three chocolate phantoms and two caramel puppies. We expect the puppies to mature to be between 15-16 inches at the shoulder and weigh between 18 and 25 lbs., like their parents. The puppies are identified by the color of the collar they are wearing. The boys are wearing stripes and the girls are wearing solid colored collars.
The puppies will be 8 weeks old on Tuesday, September 24. They can join their families the following day without training. With training, the puppies will be ready to join their families on October 15th.

The puppies arrived on Friday, August 2, 2024. There are two black and tan phantoms and one caramel girl. We expect these little ladies to mature to be between 14-15 inches at the shoulder and weigh between 12 and 18 lbs., like their parents. The puppies are identified by the color of the collar they are wearing.
